Difficult Deductions — The Incident at Galley House
Solutions framework for the toughest identification and timeline puzzles without a full spoiler walkthrough.
Why These Puzzles Sting
Late-game scenes reuse costumes, mirror reflections inflate CHARS counts, and twin-adjacent staff confuse identification. The hardest deductions cluster in Act 3 OS/MA scenes and Victim 3–2 timeline overlap.
This guide teaches methods, not a code-by-code answer key. Pair with timeline builder for visual sorting.
Twin Scene Method
When two scenes share VICTIM and TIME but differ by ROOM, list characters confirmed in both. Anyone not in both must have moved — check WI and EN transition scenes for that period. Movement time eliminates alibis for MA and HE simultaneously.
Mirror & Reflection Traps
BI and MA scenes include mirrors. Reflections count toward CHARS but lack hotspots until clicked. Rotate the camera 180° to find facing direction mismatches — a classic sign two scenes depict the same moment from different angles rather than sequential events.
