Accessibility Options — The Incident at Galley House
Guided mode, subtitles, color filters, motion reduction, and text size in The Incident at Galley House.
Keyboard & Input (July 20 Patch)
The July 20, 2026 patch fixed keyboard navigation breaking when notebook or code-dial text fields had focus, Enter key disabling mouse drag, hint order issues, reminder icon saving, and notebook paste bugs. If shortcuts stop responding, press Escape to unfocus or verify your Steam build is up to date. See PC troubleshooting for full patch notes.
Guided mode remains available for players who prefer hotspot highlights and increased Tier 1 hint frequency. Remapping is supported for notebook (default N) and hint (default H) keys via Steam Input or in-game bindings.
Visual & Motion
Options include subtitle size, high-contrast UI, color-blind filters for hotspot outlines, and reduced camera inertia. Disable screen shake in OS scenes if motion sensitive.
Guided Mode
Guided mode increases Tier 1 hint frequency, highlights uninspected hotspots after idle periods, and simplifies final quiz wrong-answer tolerance. Achievements remain available except "No Hint Finale" if guided hints fire during quiz.
Audio
Separate sliders for voice, SFX, and ambient. Visual hotspot ping optional when audio cues play for hearing accessibility. For headset setup and the July 18 spatial audio fix, see headset & audio.
